Relax and Learn: Pasco Libraries Presents Lectures on the Lawn
Get your lawn chairs ready! Pasco County Libraries presents Lectures on the Lawn, at Starkey Ranch Theatre Library Cultural Center, beginning September 28, 2023. These educational and entertaining talks will focus on Florida’s cultural and natural landscapes.
Admission to each of these events is FREE:
- Craig Pittman | September 28 | 6 p.m. | Courtyard
New York Times bestselling author discusses his book “Oh Florida!” about how our state got its interesting reputation.
- Gary Mormino | October 14 | 11:30 a.m. | Theatre
Award-winning author and Tampa Bay Times columnist dives into “The Ten Foods that Define Florida.”
- Carlton Ward Jr. | November 1 | 5:30 p.m. | Courtyard
Conservation photographer and National Geographic Explorer will screen his documentary “Path of the Panther” followed by a Q&A session.
Chairs will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Complimentary light refreshments will be available for the talk in the theatre (while supplies last). Outside food and drinks will not be permitted; however, food trucks will be available for the courtyard events.
