Pet of the Week – Arnold and Nestor

By Meaghan Goepferich Posted on May 30, 2023

Pet of the Week Nestor

Nestor (ID: A009176) is a big, hunky guy eager to find his place in the world. Although sometimes unsure of new people, he’ll quickly bond with his human and become a lovable, squishy teddy bear. He’ll melt into you, giving kisses and allowing hugs. This 6-year-old weighs in at 70 pounds and could stand to gain a few more. He’s learning to practice good manners, like not jumping or using his mouth, and is working hard to become a proper pet. He doesn’t pull on a leash, and he takes treats gently. He sits on command and wants to learn more tricks! Nestor would prefer to enjoy his food and toys alone, and he can be a little protective of his person. His ideal home would be with an adult committed to teaching him to be the best he can be! He’s working on making doggy friends, but may do best as an only pet or with one compatible buddy. If you’d like to learn more about Nestor, make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to meet him!

Pet of the week Arnold

Arnold (ID: A007199) is a gentle, sweet boy looking for his place in the world. This 5-year-old weighs about 65 pounds. He walks well on a leash; knows the sit, down and shake commands; and takes treats gently. With some reassurance, he likes to be near his person. Arnold has participated in shelter playgroups, but if you have other pups at home, please bring them by for a meet-and-greet. Want to see if you can make a connection? Schedule an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services to meet him today!
