Pet of the Week – Ashley and Pinto

By Meaghan Goepferich Posted on December 26, 2022

Ashley (ID: A001644) is as sweet as she is cute! She is about 4 years old and 50 pounds. This playful girl loves to give kisses and get butt scratches. She walks well on a leash and takes treats gently. She knows the sit, stay and come commands and is learning “down.” Ashley likes other dogs as well as people, participating in playgroups at the shelter. Make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services to meet her today and you’re sure to fall in love!

Pinto (ID: A000050) is eager to find a home where his true personality can shine! He’s so happy when he gets out of his kennel that his tail doesn’t stop wagging. This sweet, affectionate boy likes hugs and butt scratches. He also enjoys playing in the yard, chewing on toys, or just sniffing and exploring. Pinto is about 6 years old and 60 pounds. Although he likes people, he is working on his socialization skills with other dogs. He sometimes pulls on a leash, but generally walks well. Pinto did test positive for heartworms, but his treatment will be sponsored upon adoption. Make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services to meet him today!
