Pet of the Week – Denmark and Red

By Meaghan Goepferich Posted on December 20, 2022

Denmark (ID: A000534) likes people, but he LOVES his toy! He carries it with him everywhere, so he’s looking for a home where he can take it with him. Denmark is about 3 years old and 60 pounds. He is sweet and likes to be in your lap. He also participates in playgroups with other dogs, preferring those that are gentle. This well-behaved, smart guy walks well on a leash and takes treats gently. He even catches them in the air! He also knows the sit, stay and come commands. Denmark is being treated for a leg injury that gives him a slight limp. If you’d like to know more about him, make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today!

Red (ID: A000394) is the happiest guy! He is super friendly with people, and his tail is always wagging. He also loves other dogs, enjoying a game of chase in playgroups. Red is about 3 years old and 55 pounds. He enjoys toys and takes treats gently. He sometimes pulls on a leash at first, but he settles down once he gets going. Red has had surgery for his hind leg, but he doesn’t let that get him down! This energetic pup likes to run around and play in the yard. PCAS staff would be happy to discuss long-term management for his leg. One meeting with Red, and you’re sure to fall in love! Schedule an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today.
