Pet of the Week – Sabbath and Zion

Zion (ID: A003889) is a calm, mellow guy in the market for his forever home! He is about 7 years old and 60 pounds. This sweetheart walks well on a leash. He also participates in playgroups with other dogs, preferring those that are gentle like him. Sometimes he’ll decide on a game of chase, though! Zion is a typical hound and would do best with plenty of room to roam and explore. If you’re looking for a handsome, loyal companion, make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to meet him.

Sabbath (ID: A002323) is trying to find his place in the world. He is a little timid and unsure, and it takes him some time to get used to strangers. Once he makes a friend, his sweet and playful side comes out. Sabbath is energetic but walks well on a leash. This 2-year-old is a good medium size at 50 pounds, though he could stand to lose a few. Sabbath would do best as an only pet, preferably with an experienced adopter who can provide the patience and understanding he needs. If you’re up to the challenge, make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to meet him.
