Rock the Boat Productions Announces Halloween Schedule for Downtown NPR

NPR After Dark Hallowe’en Downtown takes place on Saturday, October 26 at various venues located in the downtown core beginning around 8:00 pm and lasting until 2:00 am. It is meant to emphasize the ease of walking from business to business while enjoying a festive night out with friends. Participating businesses will be hosting costume parties, live music and entertainment, and offering dinner and drink specials. More details to come.

Trick or Treat Downtown takes place on Thursday, October 31, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Downtown businesses and local organizations will have tables set up on the sidewalks along Main Street, Grand Boulevard, and Nebraska Avenue to offer treats to all the little ghosts and goblins. The New Port Richey Art Scene and First United Methodist Church of New Port Richey will also be hosting a free pumpkin painting station (location to be determined), and NPR Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting The Haunting of Peace Hall from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Cost is $3 per person. Last year it was estimated between 3,000-4,000 people ventured downtown in costume to participate in this free Trick or Treat experience.
