Saint Leo U Men’s Basketball Hosting Summer Day Camp for Boys, Girls
Saint Leo University’s men’s basketball program announced the first of its annual summer camps. The day camp will take place June 5 – 8 and is for boys and girls in second grade through high school in the Marion Bowman Activities Center at the university, 33701 County Road 52 (formerly State Road 52), St. Leo, FL 33574.
There will be two sessions: 9 a.m. to noon and 1 – 4 p.m. There will be separate divisions based on age groups. The camps will focus on shooting, perimeter skills, and footwork, and there will be games and contests.
Each morning session will primarily include skill and fundamental work. Each afternoon session consists primarily of live competition and gameplay. Campers will have the option to sign up for either session individually or sign up for both sessions. Check-in times for registered campers will depend on which session campers sign up for and be communicated via email from Coach Spencer Henke as camp approaches. Pizza orders will be available for lunch each day if campers will be attending both sessions and on campus for lunch. Cost is $180 for morning or afternoon sessions only or $310 for both.
