Saint Leo University’s MANE Event to Welcome New, Prospective Students On June 25

Saint Leo University will host its largest admissions event of the year, The MANE Event, for new and prospective undergraduate students, on Saturday, June 25. This is the last chance for incoming students to fully experience the university and its campus. Participants also will enjoy a day of food, fun, and sun with fellow incoming classmates before the start of Fall Semester 2022.

New Lions, who have committed to joining Saint Leo for the Fall 2022 Semester, as well as those still are making their college decision, will have the opportunity to explore the university’s academics, community, and student services while completing preparations for August classes.

For students who are still making their college decision, this will be the last large-scale opportunity for instant admission and securing their spot at Saint Leo on-site.

The MANE Event (a play on the university’s lion mascot) will take place 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (EDT), Saturday, June 25. Event check-in and breakfast will begin at 9 a.m. (EDT). There is no cost to attend this event, and family and friends are welcome to attend the event at University Campus, 33701 State Road 52, St. Leo, FL 33574.

Scholarship Opportunity

This also is the final opportunity for students to earn the maximum of $500 in 2022-2023 microscholarships for attending a campus event before classes begin in the fall.

Students who missed the Fall 2021 or Spring 2022 Open House or Admitted Students Day events may earn up to $500 in event microscholarships for the 2022-2023 academic year by attending The MANE Event on June 25 and fulfilling the “next steps.” Students must submit their Fall 2022 University Campus enrollment deposit by 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on Sunday, June 26, to qualify for this event’s microscholarship. Those who attended a previous Open House and Admitted Students Day will not qualify for additional microscholarship funds as they have already earned the maximum of $500 in event microscholarships. However, they will be eligible to receive giveaways and win prizes during the event.

What’s Happening

The MANE Event will include class registration, financial aid meetings, department presentations, housing selection, parking registration, student ID photos, tours, residence hall walk-throughs, and more! Students and their families also will have the opportunity to bring transcripts for the final round of Fall 2022 instant admission sessions, complete an on-site application, take placement exams, submit their deposit, and meet with faculty and staff from various departments to ensure that all new student steps are completed.

Throughout the event, University Campus Admissions will offer a large selection of food trucks, prizes, music, giveaways, and more. A special VIP reception for the incoming class will provide students who already have committed to attending with the chance to meet future classmates and other Saint Leo families while enjoying a number of special Lions-only perks.
