The Celebration of Lights is well underway

The Celebration of Lights is well underway and looking forward to the 7th year of providing a drive thru light show with entertainment throughout The Concourse for the entire family  through December 19th AND on two bonus nights of Monday, December 20th and Tuesday, December 21st.

The Celebration of Lights is well underway

In 2019 The Concourse Council, Inc. took over the Celebrations of Lights event. A committee was formed with a representative from each of our partners. In 2020, an investment in underground electric was made to make for a bigger and brighter event each year as we continue to grow the event to what Dave Parris intended it to be. The focus if 2021 is to repair and restore the existing lights as well as adding new lights to the display.

This nonprofit event will again be a collaborative nonprofit effort produced by The Concourse Council Inc., and our wonderful partners at Pasco Safety Town, Grand Concourse Railroad, West Pasco Sertoma, Pasco County Parks and Recreation and New Port Richey Rotary.

The 2020 Celebration of Lights at The Concourse was produced and managed by the 2020 Celebration of Lights committee. The event welcomed thousands of cars and their riders with over a mile and half of light displays upon the route. 27 local businesses and community members sponsored lights, helping to make this event a success for our community.

Proceeds from the 2020 event went to support A Ride for Nova, Farrell Cares Inc., Grand Concourse Railroad, Hope Lutheran Church Hudson, Krewe of Chasco, Pasco County Parks and Recreations Summer Scholarships, Pasco Safety Town, Sheriff’s Explorers Post 916, The Angelus and West Pasco Sertoma.

In an effort to increase Pasco County community involvement in the event, last year we decreased sponsor fees straight across the board. The fees remain the same for the 2021 event. If you are interested in sponsoring this year’s event visit
