The Southwest Florida Water Management District (District) has reopened the Turner Camp Road airboat slide in Citrus County. It had previously been closed due to high water in the Inverness Pool of Tsala Apopka which limited clearance under Turner Camp Road. Water levels along the Withlacoochee River and the Tsala Apopka chain-of-lakes are expected to decrease in the coming weeks as the dry season begins.
