UF/IFAS Pasco Extension Offers Online Interactive Summer Camp

The UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension Service is offering kids a chance to explore the world of bugs and gardening through a self-guided, interactive, online summer camp July 27 through August 17, 2020.  Work at your own pace with on-demand, instructional videos and activities designed for children ages 8 to 13, that feature topics including insects, hydroponics, re-rooting, seeding and growing plants in unique ways.

WHAT:    Community Garden Online Interactive Summer Camp

WHO:       Ideal for kids ages 8 to 13

WHEN:    July 27 – August 17, 2020

HOW:       Pre-Register by July 20 at: bit.ly/38BPaJp

Cost for the camp is $40 per person and includes access to instructional videos and activity kits with the necessary supplies.  Parents can pick up supply kits July 22 – 24, 2020, at Hudson Branch Library, the Pasco Extension Office in Dade City or Heritage Park Community Garden in Land O’ Lakes.  Parents must choose a time and date to pick up kits.  No refunds will be granted once tickets are purchased.
