Upcoming Informational Workshops for Habitat Affordable Homeownership Program

Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County is excited to announce a series of informational workshops aimed at guiding potential applicants through the process of applying for affordable homeownership in The Cove neighborhood in Dade City, Florida.

Upcoming Informational Workshops for Habitat Affordable Homeownership Program

These workshops are part of Habitat’s ongoing commitment to address the affordable housing crisis by providing essential information and resources to those in need of safe, stable affordable housing. Applications will not be available at these meetings. Workshops are informational only and are not required to apply for a Habitat home during the application process.

Scheduled Informational Workshops:

Thursday, February 22, 2024:

An online-only informational workshop will be held at noon (12:00 pm).
Prospective applicants can join the session through a link available on Habitat Pasco’s official website and on social media platforms.

Monday, February 26, 2024:
An in-person informational workshop is scheduled for 6:30 pm at the UF/IFAS One Stop Shop (Formerly Stallings Bldg.), 15029 14th St Dade City, FL 33525, Main Classroom. Interested participants are asked to sign up through the link available on Habitat’s website and on social media. Spanish
language assistance will be available at in-person workshops.

Thursday, February 29, 2024: An online-only informational workshop will take place at 6:30 pm. Prospective applicants can join the session through a link available on Habitat Pasco’s official website and on social media platforms.

Monday, March 11, 2024: Another opportunity for an in-person application class at 6:30 pm. at the UF/IFAS One Stop Shop (Formerly Stallings Bldg.), 15029 14th St Dade City, FL 33525, Main Classroom. Interested participants are asked to sign up through the link available on Habitat’s website and on social media. Spanish language assistance will be available at in-person workshops.

Important Dates and Information:

Starting February 16, 2024, a checklist of documents needed to apply, along with Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), will be available on the Habitat website, www.habitatpasco.org. Applications for affordable homeownership in The Cove neighborhood in Dade City, Florida will be available on March 18, 2024, through April 1, 2024. Applications can be downloaded from the website or picked up at the Habitat Program Office at 37220 Meridian Ave, Dade City, FL, 33525.

Completed applications must be mailed to or dropped off at 37220 Meridian Ave., Dade City, Florida 33525 from March 18, 2024, to April 1, 2024. Mailed applications must be postmarked by April 1, 2024. Applications can be dropped off at the secure drop box located at 37220 Meridian Avenue, Dade City, Florida 33525.

Applications MUST BE fully completed, with all required documentation to be considered. Incomplete
applications will not be considered. It is important to note that emailed applications will not be accepted.
