Uplifting Neighbors Hosts Inaugural Fundraising Breakfast

Help provide a “hand up” for those in need.  Uplifting Neighbors is hosting its Inaugural Fundraising Breakfast to support Pasco County Human Services programs Wednesday, December 04, 2019, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Verizon Event Center in New Port Richey.  Uplifting Neighbors is a non-profit comprised of community leaders working to help Pasco’s vulnerable population in times of crisis and urgent need.

“All of us have the potential to experience a crisis that leads to financial hardship,” said Community Services Director Kimberly Price.  “We’re grateful for the partnership and support of Uplifting Neighbors.  Their commitment helps ensure our citizens have the resources they need to sustain themselves in times of emergency and thereafter.”

Proceeds directly benefit those in need of utility payment or rent/mortgage assistance, helping prevent homelessness.
