The West Pasco Audubon Society meets the first Saturday of each month, at 11:00 AM, at the J. B. Starkey Wilderness Park Education Center, 10500 Wilderness Road, New Port Richey, 34655.

The program on Saturday, October 6, 2018 is “Northern Parula Story” presented by Ken Tracey.  One of our common wood warblers will be looked at in detail with clues to identification, its seasonal occurrence, and nesting.  Ken has photographed locally about 600 Northern Parulas and will be drawing from them as he shares his research with us.  Ken is a local authority on the birds of Pasco County.

On Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 10:30 AM, there will be a Beginning Birding – Introduction to Birding class.  Contact J. Mike Kell jmike65@gmail.com for more information.

On Saturday, October 6, 2018, there is a Morning Nature Walk at the J. B. Starkey Wilderness Park.  Meet at 8 AM at the Wilderness Park Education Center.  This is a 1-4 mile walk.
