Parks & Recreation to Host Whitney Houston Tribute

Citrus County Parks and Recreation will host the Whitney Houston tribute group, “Anthem,” on Friday, May 20, 2022.

Parks & Recreation to Host Whitney Houston Tribute, Announce Summer Concert Series

The show will be held at the Citrus Springs Community Center (CSCC), located at 1570 W Citrus Springs Blvd, Citrus Springs, FL. Doors open at 6:00pm with the show starting at 7:00pm. Tickets are now on sale for $15 and can be purchased online at tinyurl.com/e5paww8w or by calling (352) 527-7540. Tickets will also be sold at the door on the day of the event (cash only).

With a voice that mirrors Whitney Houston, Jade Milian is a dynamic vocalist whose commanding stage presence will have you on the edge of your seat. Samuel E is a multi-instrumentalist and award-winning arranger who has studied with the best in the business; he has continued to further his success touring and recording with major artists like the late Natalie Cole, Liza Minnelli, Big and Rich, and many more. Together, “Anthem” brings Whitney Houston’s powerful anthems to life in this one-of-a-kind staged concert recreation.

Parks and Recreation is also proud to announce their 2022 Summer Concert Series. On Friday, July 15, 2022, the band “Turnstiles: A Tribute to Billy Joel” kicks off the series by taking the stage at the CSCC. Back by popular demand, “The Atlantic City Boys” make their return to the Citrus Springs Community Center on Friday, August 26, 2022. Tickets to both shows are now on sale for $15.
